MLO 4: Research & Technology

In order to achieve this MLO I took the classes: WLC 300, JAPN 403 and WLC 400
Reflective Narrative
These classes help me to achieve this MLO by going in depth into how to use technology and the many resources that this campus has to offer in order to perfect my skill and research vital information for future projects. 4.1: We learned many methods of organizing and analyzing this data. For example we were taught how to use various websites that aided in the organization of articles and research. We also were taught how to apply these methodologies, such as various organization strategies to improve our effectiveness of gathering data for our Capstone project.4.2: Throughout these classes I had a chance to go over many aspects of technological skills that would directly relate to projects I would have to complete in the future. We also learned valuable skills such as making a professional resume and personal statement (Reference Resume and Personal Statement Below). The reason that this is effective evidence is that these show how I compiled my past experiences and were able to apply the current methodologies in order to complete an important tool for any situation. An example of one of these projects would be the senior capstone project that I will complete before my graduation. We were able to learn how to use the CSUMB library to its full potential. We also didn't only learn how to take advantage of the school library, however, we also learned the deep and complicated online databases that are extremely vital for research in regards to our capstone project. In regards to the Japanese language this was also quite important. The reason for this is that we learned how to look up articles and data in Japanese through these databases. 4.3: From these methods we were able to collect the important Japanese and English articles we will need for the Capstone project. During the Capstone class, we effectively were able to find many articles in both languages, and keep extensive collections of data and articles for the sake of our research project (Reference Pre-Capstone PPT Below). The reason this is good evidence is that it showed how we effectively collected and then presented data and information we found on a specific topic. We learned and used various technology based resources, whether data banks or organizational tools we successfully used these technologies to their full potential in order to achieve a high quality research project.
